1992 rainbow fire

Back in 1992 a massive fire called the Rainbow Fire, started by a lightning strike, destroyed Inyo National Forest. To this day, you can still see the remains of the fire. The forest has an eerily quiet and calm landscape, with thousands of burned trees lining the area.
